Description: Kingdom FM is Fife’s favourite radio station and we’re currently looking for a News Editor who can continue, and improve, the already high standards set by our current team.
The successful applicant will be a first class journalist with a proven track record in live broadcasting.
Knowledge of Fife and the surrounding areas is desirable, as is a thorough grasp of Scottish current affairs and politics. You must understand Scottish media law and be able to guide staff on legal issues.
Your main responsibilities will include managing and developing the station's reporting team, setting the daily news agenda and ensuring the station's news output meets the needs of its listeners. Experienced in managing local relationships and contacts, you'll also be expected to work flexibly and have the ability to plan ahead.
Knowledge of Burli is advantageous and a full UK driving licence is essential.
