The SRA and Red Bull Music Academy are offering ten pairs of trips to London for students working in radio, to get involved with the Red Bull Music Academy Radio team for a unique broadcasting experience.

Working with a team of seasoned radio professionals during the Academy event through February 7 to March 12, 2010, you'll be able to take your production skills to the next level, while getting must-listen content for your own radio shows.
What is the Academy?
The Red Bull Music Academy is a workshop that travels the world. Setting up their EQ HQ for two fortnight-long 'terms' in a different musical metropolise each year, they pull together pioneers of days-gone-by and days-to-come from all aspects of rhythm and sound. In 2010 they're coming to London.
Each day there are two lecture sessions with some of the world's top producers, where participants get to ask all kinds of burning questions and discovered closely-guarded secrets of mixing desk magic. It's a long list, but whether they're house dons like Theo Parrish or Harry Leard, techno heads like Derrick May or Moritz on Oswald, bass steppers like Skream or Mala from DMZ, disco nuts like Prins Thomas or DJ Harvey, hip hop heavyweights like Just Blaze and ?uestlove, or just straight-up legends like Peter Hook or Bob Moog - they've all joined us on the couch for an honest insight into their musical minds.
Between times, Academy attendees record exclusive radio shows, meet in the lounge to chat about the latest gear or their homeland scenes, or gather in the studios set up for the occasion - turning their fresh knowledge into melodies and basslines.
So who's involved?
The RBMA Radio team is made up of an international cast of top broadcasting professionals from across the board. Producers from BBC Radio 1 and 1xtra for the likes of Gilles Peterson, Tim Westwood, Scott Mills and Mary Anne Hobbs, to Sony Gold Award-winning podcasts, and Radio 1's Newsbeat, these people don't just know radio like the back of their hands - they raise the bar every day.
Completing the team will be members from the RBMA Radio's HQ in Cologne, bringing a distinct international vibe to the station. RBMA Radio is at the forefront of internet radio with their tailor-made on-demand archive, and the content is broadcasted across the world through FM stations in over 30 countries.
During the Academy event the RBMA Radio will also be syndicating shows for NME Radio in London, so this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about new forms of radio and syndication networks. But not only will you get to pick the brains of broadcast and music industry professionals, you'll also have access to musical legends of yesteryear and pioneering producers of tomorrow - in lecture sessions, exclusive one-to-one interviews, and at the over 30 concerts and parties that will complement the daytime activities at the Academy.
So what do I need to do?
All you have to do to apply is:
- Download the RMBA Radio Application form here: Download RBMA App Form.
- Send a direct link to your show online, or upload a sample radio show/feature you're proud of producing/presenting, with a duration of up to 60 minutes, via Yousendit, Megaupload, Rapidshare etc.
- Send an email to sra@redbullmusicacademy.com, complete with the completed application form and tracklisting as an attachment, plus the link to download your sample show.
Make sure you've answered all the questions and include all your contact details.
Get your application in by February 7th 2010.
