Until the 2012 National Student Radio Conference in Bradford

We're the oldest legal independent radio station in the UK. Broadcasting to over 13,000 students (including across York's recent expansion) we have continual...
Here's my update for January 2010.
Well the biggest thing I've been up to is sorting memberships out - this year we've brought them online so it's hopefully going to make staying in touch with you all a lot easier! If you've got any questions or problems with memberships, don't hesitate to get in touch with me!
I've also begun liaising with the other exec and Fly FM to organise the conference - this year looks bigger and better than ever, with some great speakers already confirmed and loads more on board! We're trying to keep it as much a surprise as possible, so keep checking back on the site to keep up with the latest information - or check out the facebook fanpage!
I've been organising the brand new online ticket process with Matt, our finance officer, and Mark, our Webmaster, to make sure it's easier and quicker than ever before to book your conference tickets. We're already selling like mad, and this year with limited spaces, we're expecting a sell out event! So get in quick before we run out - tickets are on sale until March 7th!
I'm also looking after the conference programme this year, so look out for that in your delegate bags at the event!
And also keep an eye out for the SRA Volunteer Awards at the SRA Conference - it's where we'll be awarding our members personally for all the hard work they've put in throughout the year, and also giving out Honorary Life Memberships to those people who have helped make the SRA what it is today!
Something else you might want to look out for is the announcement of elections, due to take place at the AGM this year - 30th March at the conference! We'll be getting up information packs and details of roles in the next week or so!
There's loads of other stuff I've been up to, including meeting with MUZU.tv, UK Undiscovered and Deuce MP to see what other benefits we can provide our members with, and I've got plenty more planned before the conference.
If you have any questions, problems or just want to find out more, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me!
