Until the 2012 National Student Radio Conference in Bradford

Southampton Solent University
Radio Sonar is the Student Radio Station for Southampton Solent University. We broadcast live 24 hours a day, 7 days a week online at www.radiosonar.co.uk.
Swansea University's student radio staton, Xtreme Radio, has created its first iPhone/iPod Touch application.
Xtreme Radio is the first university-based radio station to have a dedicated iPhone application in the UK.
The new innovative way to reach students presents the station with a more effective way to gain higher listening figures and reach the students of the university with public information.
Brett Jenkins, Head of Engineering for Xtreme Radio, has been busy creating the iPhone/iPod Touch application for Xtreme: the 3rd year Computing Science student has been working on the application since September 2009 to develop listening opportunities for the station.
The application allows users to listen to the radio via iPhone or iPod Touch, and also means that you can listen while out of WIFI range. It allows listeners to view currently playing information and message into the studio without leaving the application.
The app has now been released and is available on iTunes, with a newer version due for release in the next fortnight, adding integration with the Student Radio Association.
