Star FM: New Research on Trustworthiness: Full Story
258 men played a computer game for money, during which there were opportunities to trust or exploit other participants. Not only did the participants trust wider-faced players less, but the men with wider faces were actually found to exploit the trust of other players more often. However, they were also more likely to sacrifice money to enforce good behaviour, so all is not lost for wider faced men.
