ROSKILDE FESTIVAL RADIO 2010
You could present a radio show at one of the biggest festivals in Europe. Apply before April 7th for this fantastic opportunity.
ROSKILDE FESTIVAL RADIO 2010 : Full Story
Roskilde one the biggest and best festivals in Europe, is offering you the chance to present a radio show live to the world from the centre of the action. It's a week long bash, with much more than just music.
Two Stroke Productions are looking for a razor sharp team to take over the afternoon show in English, from 5 to 7pm daily. You'll be required on site from 26th June and July 5th (dates inclusive). They are looking for 2 presenters, a reporter and a producer who can put together a show that will appeal to festival goers camping onsite for the whole of the festival and beyond as the station is broadcast nationwide.
You'll need to be outgoing, cooperative, open-minded and able to think on your feet. The studio is in the middle of a camping area, so all of you will need to be comfortable interacting with people in a spontaneous and inventive way. It's unpredictable radio, but you'll have the opportunity to put together a show that has virtually no limits — so think creatively!
To apply, you need to send details about what kind of show you'd like to make, what you've done already and be sure to explain why you think you'd be the perfect team member. They will also like examples of your work, so send them through too.
Practical info: Two Stroke Productions can't cover your transport costs to or from the festival, but you will get a media festival pass, food is mostly provided, and you have access to the super nice volunteer camping area. It's also the experience of a lifetime.
Important dates: You presence is required between 26th June and July 5th, both days included. All applications have to be sent to patrick@twostroke.tv or victoria@twostroke.tv before April 7th 2010. If you have questions about anything, please do not hesitate to contact them.
