Nick Bright joins BBC Radio 1’s Greg James in the line up for the Student vs Industry Soundclash a the National Student Radio Conference 2011.

Nick Bright is BBC 1Xtra’s weekend breakfast presenter, and will be heading to the University of Hertfordshire on Monday 18th April 2011 to take part in the Student vs Industry Soundclash alongside a number of other professional DJs, including Greg James.

The Soundclash offers student radio enthusiasts the opportunity to battle in a DJ-off against professionals from the industry live on stage in front of the conference crowd. There are five positions available on the bill for students with talent and flair for DJing – and who also aren’t afraid of a good laugh!

All you need to do to take part is:

  • Send a short demo (5 minutes max) of your DJing skills and 250 words on why you should be picked, with your name, student station and contact details to Sarah
  • Get yourself a ticket to the conference (tickets can be purchased from our eshop)

The deadline for submitting your demos to the soundclash is 5pm Sunday 3rd April 2011.

5 lucky winners will be contacted two weeks prior to the conference. You must have a ticket to the conference to take part on the night.
