CSR 97.4 FM will be taking part in a day of charity challenges stretching across Canterbury this Thursday!

CSR will be launching an exhausting 12-hour broadcast of treasure hunting, waxing and busking, all in the aid of the Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund for Japan.

From 6am-6pm on Thursday 24th March, CSR presenters will be eating things they probably shouldn’t, waxing areas they never have before, and singing songs only previously heard whilst washing. Members will be scouting both Kent University and Christ Church University campuses for random items place on a Charity Checklist, as well as working alongside numerous sports and societies to raise awareness of the terrible destruction in Japan.

The broadcast is one of numerous activities already planned for the day, with cake sales, circus workshops and netball skills all lined up for the afternoon.
