Scratch Radio

Birmingham’s Scratch Radio, the student and community radio station based in Birmingham City University, will today (Tuesday 8th May) air it’s first ever radio drama series.

The drama, called THE BLOCK will air tonight between 6pm and 8pm, including an interview with the production’s producers, scriptwriters and one of the actors in order to introduce the characters, and discuss life for young people living in an inner-city council estate.

After the programme at scratchradio.co.uk, the shows will be able available to listen again at grapevineav.com/block. All listeners are invited to feedback and be part of the final production.

They are trying to start a new life, but when a dark secret from their past surfaces, they discover that it’s not going to be easy…”
