Ahead of the Student Radio Conference, the SRA will be hosting a free training day for all members, hosted by the University of Bristol, on Wednesday, February 20th.
The day will focus on how to get the best out of your student radio station from people who really know what they’re talking about.
We’ll be hearing from Duncan Knox from Sponsorcraft, telling you about the ways you can use the service to raise funds for your student radio station by using crowd-funding.
Nick Piggott, Head of Creative Technologies for Global Radio, will be showcasing what the future of radio looks like.
Also Sean Thorne (Fun Kids Radio) will be coming in to share his insights into student radio from the time he was a Programme Controller at Xpress Radio.
Then Robin Murphy formerly of URN, Student Radio Station of the Year winner for the last three years, will be talking about his role as Station Editor and how URN has maintained it’s success over the last couple of years.
The BBC College of Production will also be talking about how they can help you develop your skills in radio. More guests look likely to be confirmed closer to the date. Look forward to seeing lots of you down there.
