Student radio alumni, Pete Allison, will be presenting on BBC Radio 1 this week, from Monday to Thursday, on the Early Morning Breakfast Show.

It’s a huge celebration of student radio talent over the next couple of weeks, as three alumni cover shows on BBC Radio 1. This kicks off with Pete Allison, who is on-air from Monday to Thursday on the Early Morning Breakfast Show, covering Dev.

Pete Allison is an alumni of Fly FM (Nottingham Trent University) who won ‘Best Male Presenter’ at the Student Radio Awards in 2011. He then went on to present at The Hits Radio and Capital FM in Yorkshire.

Pete will be continuing his involvement in student radio, as he will be hosting the I Love Student Radio Awards at the National Student Radio Conference in just over one week’s time.

Later on this week, Hattie Pearson, alumni of Fuse FM (University of Manchester) will be covering the same show, followed by Ethan O’Leary next Monday. They are winners of ‘Best Female Presenter’ and ‘Best Male Presenter’ respectively at this year’s Student Radio Awards. We’ll catch up with the winners later on in the week!
