Sqwarkr, a brand new social media posting platform, are offering free accounts to all student radio stations. I know what you’re thinking… What’s the catch? Well, there isn’t one. HONESTLY.
The guys who created it, James and Andrew, are ex-student radio-ers themselves (Fuse FM) and have realised that whilst they’ve developed a platform to help bring social accounts of large networks together, it also may help out the student community.
Similarly to other posting platforms, Sqwarkr offers a free service – but with other platforms you’ll often find that you need to share the account (and therefore the password) with many other people. With Sqwarkr, you’ll be able to link individuals’ personal accounts to your station’s Twitter and Facebook. This makes is super easy for your Head of Social Media to see who is posting what – allowing them to give feedback and make sure your station’s social media output more streamlined.
There’s a whole host of other things Sqwarkr does, which you can check out in this short 60 second video here.
If you would like to try it out, then please email James at firstname.lastname@example.org
