Day by day, we’ve been announcing speakers for the National Student Radio Conference down in Cardiff between the 30th March and the 1st April. Here’s what we’ve learned so far…

Greg James is a student radio favourite and Honourary Life Member of the SRA. He supports us in everything we do and even once stepped in to host the Student Radio Awards, supported by BBC Radio 1 and Global, when Nick Grimshaw was rushed to the doctor’s after hitting his head on the studio desk!

Huw Stephens was Chair of the Student Radio Awards and is from Wales, so it’s absolutely perfect to welcome him to the National Student Radio Conference this year. He’ll be talking with us about all things music.

Rhys Hughes has the extravagant and most excellent title of ‘Head of Programmes’ at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra. If you’re after a job as a presenter, this is the guy you need to impress. (Most commonly found doing important meetings outside Cafe Nero at New Broadcasting House. Inside knowledge there from one coffee lover to another.)
