Hello and welcome to what is the final SRA Playlist Survey of the year. As many of our stations hop off air for their Summer breaks, we have one last bumper hoorah to celebrate the best new music sent to student radio over April and May. We had 22 Stations take part in this final survey.

“YES – It has been on our A Playlist for roughly 5 weeks now. Catchy song from what is shaping to be one of Calvin Harris’ best albums so far” (Will Fisher, Forge Radio)

Declan McKenna – Brazil

Dua Lipa ft Miguel – Lost In Your Light

“YES (already on playlist) – Such a complimenting duo of sounds, this track has been on our playlist for sometime.” (Isobel Sheeran, Insanity Radio)

“We put this on our A list last week! I really love this song, her song sounds amazing and I think it’s very catchy. Somehow this didn’t even chart. I think it’s because our DJs sometimes only play what they know without giving other artists a chance. This definitely should have got more plays!” (Amber Brooks, RAW)

Biffy Clyro – Friends And Enemies

“Yes, this song appealed to many people in Forge and around the union. It is now in its 4 weeks of play on the A playlist.” (Will Fisher, Forge Radio)

“Great song!! This reached number 2 on our chart after we put it on the A list. So glad to see the band experimenting with new sounds. My favourite part of this song is the superimposed ‘uh’ just after the chorus – fantastic haha” (Amber Brooks, RAW)

The Japanese House – Saw You In A Dream

“I heard about this band the other day, I really love them. This song is so chilled out, I’m going to push for DJs to play this, this week” (Amber Brooks, RAW)
