Applications to host the 2017-2018 Student Radio Chart Show are now open and will close on October 6th, so apply quick! If you’d like your station to be a part of it, get your Station Manager or a designated committee member to apply today through the form linked below. The first show will be in late October, so make sure you are prepared. If you have any questions, feel free to email our Chart Show Officer, Tomás De La Rosa.

The Student Radio Chart Show goes live across the country every Sunday from 2 to 4pm, and is broadcast by a host student station to the rest of the UK. The chart is made up of the top twenty biggest hits playing on student radio stations across the UK and is produced by the Student Radio Association. The Student Radio Chart Show is the only chart show that represents what you, the students, are playing. Each week we broadcast from a different station around the UK, so you’ll always hear new presenters counting down your favourite tunes.

In addition to the chart, the show is also packed with music news, gig guides, and a showcase of new music. And with the Station Hot Pick, the host station chooses a local artist they are championing and can either choose to do an interview or produce a live on-air session.

We want to know what you think of the tracks that make up the Student Radio Chart Show, so join the discussion on our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter @srachart as we count down the UK’s top student tracks, and look for us on Snapchat at “studentradio”. We will also be bringing you the SRA Blog, in which you can find the weekly chart and the hosting stations views and reviews. If you want to find out more about the show or would like to join the hosting schedule contact Tomás at chart@studentradio.org.uk
