Three hundred students.
Only one winner.
If you fancy yourself as the next big radio presenter, here is your chance to get yourself heard by the people in the industry who can get you places. All you have to do is put together a demo of three minutes in length, submit your demo, and then buy your ticket to the National Student Radio Conference. Demo Factor will be on the first night – the 4th April.
The premise? Demos will be picked randomly out of a hat and played out to the whole room. (This is not one for the shy presenters out there!) The five judges will each hit their buzzer when in real-life they would have stopped listening. Once all five buzzers have been hit, your turn ends, and the feedback begins. This is not for the faint hearted.
Your Demo Factor 2018 Host
Ben Burrell (Pure FM, now Victory Radio, alumnus). Ben was the FIRST EVER winner of Demo Factor. Ben went on to present at Free Radio in the Midlands, and is now a presenter on Absolute Radio.
Ben fact: He loves confetti and will look fondly upon you if you also like confetti cannons.
