Dirty Hit are perhaps our favourite of all the record labels in the world. They’ve given us The 1975. They’ve given us Wolf Alice. They’ve given us last year’s SRA Class of alumni, Pale Waves. And now they give us one of the world’s most exciting pop songwriters, No Rome.

Rome has such an interesting story. He’s actually from Manila in the Philippines but when he connected with Matty Healy, he flew out to the UK to come and live with Matty in London.

His music is so exciting. His EP RIP Indo Hisashi spawned four singles which have all gone down really well with student radio. His latest, Narcissist, featuring The 1975, hit number one on our SRA Chart earlier this year.

And what’s perhaps most exciting is we’re only just getting started. Rome helped write the eternal bop, TooTimeTooTimeTooTime by The 1975, easily one of the catchiest records of the year. It’s only a matter of time before he hits those heights with his own music. And we at student radio are certain he will.

By making our SRA Class of 2019, No Rome will have all of his future singles considered for airplay across the UK. We’ll also support his music through our SRA Chart & streaming playlists.
