We’re absolutely delighted to be welcoming to the SRA Class of 2020, one of the most exciting up-and-coming indie-pop outlets; APRE.
Since the release of their debut EP ‘The Movement of Time’ in 2018, featuring their most popular single ‘All Yours’, APRE have been making waves in the UK indie scene. The band is made up of Charlie Brown and Jules Konieczny, who have released all four of their EPs so far on their own label, Beach 91.
Having just completed the first leg of their European tour, the boys are hitting the UK again in February, for a run which is bound to draw huge crowds in iconic venues such as London’s Scala. The contagious energy APRE bring to their gigs is combined with the marvel of watching two greatly gifted musicians to provide a live show fans will not forget.
Their mix of dreamy guitar leads and driving basslines, reminiscing indie giants such as Foals and Local Natives, have provided the perfect sound for a student radio community constantly craving new and exciting indie acts. At URF, we have loved every release from APRE and are incredibly excited to continue supporting them in 2020. We can only expect more and more huge tunes from them and it will be our pleasure to spin them on our station.
APRE are a band to keep a very close eye on. Their February UK tour will be a great opportunity to see them in an intimate setting before they blow up, you’d be a fool to miss out.
