We are the representative body which supports and acts on behalf of the UK student radio community. Representing any radio station which is linked to a place of eduction - such as universities and colleges.
We exist to encourage and facilitate communication between student stations, to assist in their development, and to offer support and advice to new stations just setting up.
The SRA also runs the national Student Radio Awards every november - celebrating the best in student radio in the UK as well as an annual conference and training days throughout the year. See our contact page for how to get in touch!

Ryan wants your height!
Ryan Bartrop is Station Manager of CSR FM (a joint station between University Of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University).
He has been set a challenge from within his station, to find out if he is the shortest station manager in the country!
He says: "I am not that short but compared to my co-host I am!"!

The National Student Radio Chart Show: Back for 2012
This Sunday (22nd January) see's the second-term launch of our new-look National Student Radio Chart Show! IC Radio in London will be the first hosts of the new look Chart show.
Broadcast from a different SRA member station each week and networked on student stations across the UK. The National Student Radio Chart Show is split into two parts.
