An afternoon/evening series of talks and workshops on Music Production, DJ Skills and Music Technology with Hospital Records and the British DJ and MC Academy are taking place on 5th March. There are only 30 places on each workshop, so make sure you get in fast! The Q and A sessions have 300 places, and can easily be booked directly at the BME page. Radio Skills Workshop with the British DJ and MC Academy Take your place on stage with the British DJ and MC Academy in this session, which includes hands-on training in radio presenting, with Chris Intaface, who has hosted his own shows on Kiss FM and currently Kool FM, and DJing by renowned drum and bass artists Lady MC and DJ Trickles. Hospital Records Q + A + E Danny Byrd, John B and Emalkay of Hospital Records join Radio One's DJ Mistajam to present their music-making techniques and take questions on how they go about creating their trademark sounds. Vocalist IK, will be appearing with Danny Byrd to demonstrate how to record and treat a vocal. Also on the agenda will be beat programming, heavy basslines and everything else in-between.
