URY raise money for University of York's RAG charities by presenting the same show for a record-breaking 49 hours.
URY in Record Broadcast for Charity: Full Story
35 URY members were involved in broadcasting and Woodstock (the only annual outdoor concert in York each year) and raised a total of £5000 in aid of 6 charities supported by University of York's RAG.
The Woodstock show was presented by the same show team continuously from 1am on Friday 25th June until 1.10am on Sunday 27th June, totalling over 49 hours of continual presenting!
