Hello from the South Region!
Our area of the SRA stretches across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Oxfordshire, with everything in between – and last year’s paid member stations came from the University of Portsmouth, the University of Bournemouth, the University of Surrey, the University of Oxford and Southampton Solent University; although there’s always room for more!
The South Region had a groundbreaking year in 2022/23, with each station broadcasting together for the very first time to raise funds for charity, in what became known as the Round The Clock Radio Challenge. This year, Regional Officer Joshua Dodd has promised even better, so keep an eye out!
We look forward to welcoming you to the South in 2023/24, and who knows, maybe you could join the list of incredible Team South alumni, like Absolute Radio’s Ben Burrell, or even our very own Chair Danny Humby…
